Before reading the Ebook Hair Extensions Exposed I had a very basic understanding of hair extensions. I knew that hair extensions were very commonly used, but could potentially destroy the user's hair if they weren't carefully applied. I wasn't aware of what could potentially cause the damage, or how to avoid the potential damage.
The top 5 things that I learned about hair extensions are:
1. There are so many different options. If there's something about a specific method that concerns you, there's another one to go with.
2. RESEARCH before doing anything. Know which technique will work for you, and make sure that the stylist you're going to has experience with that technique.
3. Getting hair extensions is not a one time or once in a couple of months thing. They require care and maintenance. When assessing if extensions are the correct thing for you, you need to keep in mind the additional time and financial commitments that come with getting extensions.
4. When getting extensions, it's not only the method that they're attached with that you need to be aware of before committing. You need to make sure that the method that will be used to detach the extensions will work for you.
5. There's a variety of hair to choose from when getting extensions made. You can get hair to perfectly match your color and textureThis book really specifies everything you'd need to know, and knowing makes the whole process less daunting. I now have the ability to make an educated decision on what works best for me, without just relying on what a hair dresser (with a vested interest) suggests.
I highly recommend this book. I think that it organizes the whole hair extension process. Hair extensions are time consuming and costly. This book helps you understand what works best for you. It prepares you so that when you sit down for a consult, you know what to ask, and what answers to be satisfied with.
Thanks Hair Extensions Exposed!
